Thanks to all who prayed for our soccer program launch. We had 18 kids come and it went very well. We are still going to try to visit one more school to invite kids and word of mouth will be the best promotion. Pray that we see a lot of families connected and that we can see changed lives.

This is the add for our new community youth soccer program that starts this Saturday. Pray that it will be a success and that we will be able to reach out to many kids and families in our community.

Today an elderly mother of one of of our church families passed away. Jonathan has been asked to have part in the funeral service. Since we are renting a facility only on Sundays we are now searching for a place that will allow us to do the all night visitation tonight before the burial tomorrow. Usually would be done in a Catholic chapel or funeral home or our own building if we had one. These are new things that we have to work through and praying for guidance.
Please pray that God would facilitate those arrangements, but more for hearts to accept His word as it is shared during this time.

Saturday we had the privilege of going out into our community to collect donations for the families affected by the flooding in recent days in Costa Rica. Our church also collected more donations on Sunday and we took time from our meeting to pray for those affected and our local and national leaders and first responders that are hard at work around the country. Please join us in praying that God will work as He already has in these difficult days not only here but in many other countries.
